Mr Ronnie Rahman, Consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist


After graduating from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine, Mr Rahman completing his foundation training in The North East Thames Deanery, before completing his specialist training in South London and Surrey. During the course of his training, he spent more than two years working at major endometriosis centres.

Upon completing his training at St George's Hospital in London, Mr Rahman went on to complete a Fellowship working at the famous Myoma (Fibroid) centre. Under the auspices of Prof Isaac Manyonda, he became very experienced in the management of complex fibroid disease.

He has completed Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSMs) in Open and Laparoscopic Surgery, Hysteroscopy and Advanced Labour Ward Practice.

Outpatient Hysteroscopy; Ambulatory Gynaecology; Minimal Access Surgery; Menstrual Disorders; Uterine Fibroids; Pelvic Pain

Mr Rahman's main interests are the management of menstrual disorders (including the surgical and medical management of uterine fibroids) as well as ambulatory gynaecology, which includes the diagnosis and treatment of various gynaecological problems involving the uterus.

He is also trained to treat a wide range of conditions laparoscopically (keyhole) and perform a number of procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy.
