The Urogynaecology team investigates and treats women referred with pelvic floor dysfunction. This includes woman with urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse or combined disorders.
The service is led by consultants, an advanced urogynaecology nurse specialist and a urodynamic nurse specilaist who co-ordinate the care you receive with a dedicated team of nurses, physiotherapist and continence advisor..
Urogynaecological investigations include urodynamic studies, pelvic floor, muscle re-education and bladder re-training programmes. It undertakes to treat patients both medically and surgically and its work is recognised both nationally and internationally. Significant research is undertaken to treat both incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse in a modern, dynamic manner.
Appointments are arranged via your GP. It is possible that there will be a trainee doctor present in the clinic.
